Cinch customer service
#Cinch customer service update#
I will update this review again once once these issues are resolved. I'm also still waiting for instructions to how I can cancel my road tax, as I don't have the V5C reference number. Cinch have also promised a goodwill gesture to cover my additional expenses - but I'm still waiting for this money (plus my refund!) to come through. Update 1 - 5 days on, the car has been collected (after a quite lot of hassle and calls/emails - they originally wanted me to wait for over a week for collection!).
#Cinch customer service driver#
Formal complaint will also be raised.Īvoid! Car just delivered with faults, which were only apparent after the driver left (he didn't offer to show me the inside of the car, and now I know why - there were 2 warning lights on and the car is juddering violently! Either these faults magically appeared just after the driver left, or he must have driven it all the way to my house with these faults.) Absolute disgrace, and now have to mess about with waiting for refunds and for the car to be collected - plus I am out of pocket as I had already arranged insurance and road tax (as Cinch instruct you to do before delivery). If no vehicle by Friday I will be cancelling order and going to Cazoo. Now I have had no transport for two days and just hanging around the house in the off chance that someone will call and let me know where my vehicle is? Very quick to take my cash and then very poor service delivery. Sam promised someone would call me at 7.30pm to give me a detailed update on whether I would get delivery on Thursday. I advised that I had cancelled my insurance on my current car on Tuesday at midnight and therefore had no transport all day Wednesday and no idea when I would receive the new vehicle. I asked why no-one called me and he said he was doing everything possible, which as far as I could see was just sending one email. 4pm that day I called as no update and spent 15mins getting through to Sam. Received call at 9.15am on Wednesday to be advised that my vehicle had not been delivered to the Hub? Was told he would check it out and hopefully deliver that afternoon but would come back to me with update.
All agreed and excited for new car delivery. CS person Sian phoned on Tuesday night to check I had everything in order for delivery next day. VERY POOR SERVICE AND COMMUNICATIONS Pleased with the ordering process and agreed delivery date on Wednesday between 10-12. Thanks Simon for your determination and application to the customer journey. Without Simon’s intervention this would have been an aborted sale. I would strongly advise avoiding and going with an alternative provider.Update to review*** Following calls with Simon from Customer Experience team, issues were resolved and vehicle delivered today. Further faults are now emerging with car on the fan belt. I tried to raise a formal complaint, still no reply or any communication 3 weeks after we got the car back from the garage. We were told we would receive an extension to the warranty period by phone but they would never formally confirm in writing and seemed to deny it when asked later. When we spoke to them on the phone they were either rude, didn't know what was going on or overly enthusiastic with offers to help but then never followed through with what they promised. Worse than all of that, cinch just didn't reply.
They asked me to sign a blank contact assuming liability for a car they would add to the contract later, which they said was standard policy, but is also illegal. The 'platinum' warranty offered a courtesy car but after being told one would arrive, we chased up to be told there was at least a 4 week wait and we were 100+ in the queue. We spent 4 weeks trying to chase between the garage, warrantee provider and cinch with neither seeking to know what was going on. I'm not usually one for writing bad reviews but thought this warranted one. We had an engine warning light come on within 2 weeks which if they had sorted would have been fine but the customer service is by far the worst thing I have ever encountered. Avoid! Buying the car was simple and the delivery really straight forward but it was clear early on that the car hadn't been checked.
